How do I apply for supplementary child benefit from outside the Netherlands?

In most cases you will automatically get supplementary child benefit from the Tax Administration if you are entitled to it. In some cases you have to apply for it yourself. If you live abroad, you can apply for supplementary child benefit online or by phone.

You already get another benefit

If you already receive other benefits from the Tax Administration, you will automatically get supplementary child benefit if you are entitled to it. You do not need to apply for it separately.

You do not yet get any benefits

If you do not receive other benefits from the Tax Administration, you can apply for supplementary child benefit yourself, if you meet the conditions.
