How can I track the status of my visa application for the Netherlands?

You can track the status of your visa application for the Netherlands online. How you do this depends on where you submitted your application.

Warning: Did you apply for a visa between April 2024 and October 2024? This is the peak application season, and it may take longer to process your visa application during this period. Please do not contact us about the status of your application. You can track the status of your application online. We have no additional information about your application.

If you applied at VFS Global

You can track your application online if you applied at a VFS Global centre. You will need the reference number you received when you submitted your application.

Visa status tracking with VFS Global

  1. Go to the VFS Global website.
  2. Select the country you applied from and the country you are going to.
  3. Click ‘Take me to the website’.
  4. Select the ‘Track your application’ tab and then click on ‘track your visa application status online’.
  5. Fill in the reference number you received when you submitted your application and your last name. You can find your reference number on the invoice/receipt issued by the visa application centre.
  6. Click ‘Submit’ to view the status of your application.

If you applied at a Dutch embassy or consulate-general

You can track your application online if you applied at a Dutch embassy or consulate-general. You will need the reference number you received when you submitted your application.

  1. Go to the track & trace system.
  2. Select the country where you submitted your application and your language.
  3. Click ‘Submit’.
  4. Enter your tracking number. You can find the tracking number on the card you received at your appointment.
  5. Click ‘Submit’ to view the status of your application.

If you applied at TLScontact

You can track your application online if you applied at a TLScontact centre. You will need to login to your TLScontact account.

Visa status tracking with TLScontact

  1. Go to the TLScontact website.
  2. Select the visa application centre where you submitted your application.
  3. Long in by using your email address and password to view the status of your application.
