How can I provide proof of private accomodation?

You can provide proof of private accommodation for your visitor by completing the proof of private accommodation form of the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND).

By completing and signing the form you are declaring that you will provide your visitor with accommodation.

What should my visitor do with the form?

What your visitor does with the form depends on whether they need a visa to visit the Netherlands.

Check whether your visitor needs a visa

Take the form to your municipality so that your signature can be legalised.

After your signature has been legalised your visitor must apply for a visa within 6 months. Their trip can take place beyond 6 months away, however.

The form does not need to be legalised.

Your visitor just needs to bring the form with them when they travel to the Netherlands. They will need to show the form at the Dutch border.
